This Privacy Policy applies is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in CB2, except if the activity is done through a paid crowdsourcing task (e.g., via Mechanical Turk). Information we collect

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

How we use your information

We use your account ID to group games that you played for data analysis and our research. Your account ID is anonymized and cannot be traced back to your login account (e.g., your Google account). The recordings of your games, including game moves, instructions, and any other information generated during game play is used for research only. This information is fully anonymized, unless you specify identifiable information when writing instructions in the game. Doing so forms a consent to include this data in our research, including in future data releases.

Log Files

CB2 follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites and use the game. All log files are fully anonymized, except if you specify identifiable information in typed instructions.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, CB2 uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
